On this inspection, I inspect a centennial home in the rain. Several defects were noted during the inspection, but all are able to be corrected.
The notable defects on the exterior of this particular home were:
- Windows: In need of repair or replacements; missing window wells; sills too close to grade
- Gutters: In need of repair; missing
- Roof: Repair or replace as needed
- Walls: Repair in various locations
Implications to all of these are moisture intrusion. If repairs are made, this home can stand for another 100 years.
